Edited Unassigned: Cannot upload item image file [9]

When I try to upload an image for an item the upload fails. I put the image files in the "images" folder of my site (I am doing this locally) and gave the local "Everyone" group "Full Control" of each folder from the site folder down to the image itself. This is in version 2.6. Thanks in advance.
